A good laugh (true Story)
After pulling up the bed covers and taking a shower I am wolfing down my breakfast before cycling off to college. "I want you a moment dear - upstairs in your bedroom". This is fast becoming a daily drama between Mum and me.
Dragging my feet upstairs I face the usual humiliation. Mum has again pulled back the covers to expose my soggy wet sheets. "Take them downstairs - you can wash them later and make up the bed with clean ones.I'll dry the rubber-sheet."
Later, coming home with a couple of pals,we put our bikes away. Looking up at my bedroom window we all spot the rubber-sheet hanging out to dry. My pals have a good long laugh - and start to tease me calling me "Rubber-Boy" and other names. I reckon I better laugh too- "laugh and the world laughs with you" is the best medicine, and saves the situation!
